Eden

Eden is 4 years old and has had 3 calves. She has a calm temperament without attracting attention, which makes her a very easy cow to work with!

A fun fact about Eden is her family, the “E” family, is one of the oldest families on the farm! They date back to Eudora, who was purchased from Sharlene’s parents.

Bravado

Meet Bravado! She is currently 6 years old and has had 4 calves. Her family line is full of mainly black Holsteins like herself. We have had a little fun with her family's names too. Bravado's mother is Bravo and Brovo's mother is Brave!

Liberty

Liberty is two years old, has had one calf, and had another one the way. She made a remarkably great recovery after a pretty serious medical condition happened 6 months ago and we are so glad! She’s turning into quite the cow and does a great job modeling for pictures like these!

June

June happens to be one of the biggest sweethearts we own! She is currently 3 years old and has had two calves. She enjoys getting pet any chance she gets!

Bella

Bella

Bella is not only a beautiful color, but she’s about as sweet as they come. She is the shortest cow we have measuring in at 4’ 8”. She looks extra tiny when she stands next to a couple of our extremely tall cows! Bella is 3 years old and while she may be small, she sure holds her own in the barn and on pasture!

Satin

Satin

Satin, the cow on the right in this 2017 county fair throwback picture! She was able to show for the 4th time at the Washington County Fair in 2022, and was awarded Grand Champion. She is also 9 years old and last calved in May with her 7th calf! She milks around 115 pounds each day. She is making about 5 gallons of milk per hour!

Magenta

Magenta

Magenta is known for her friendly personality and ability to find you in a pen to get some love and scratches! She is 3 years old and has had 2 calves.  Magenta is a sweetheart and we enjoy having her as a part of our herd!

Deligt

Delight

Delight is 2 years old and has been producing well over 100 pounds (roughly 12 gallons) of milk every day for the last 9 months. Delight is also very friendly and the tallest cow we have ever had in our herd. Cows are measured at the point of the withers (high point on back above their shoulders). She is 66” tall (5’6”) and we often can’t see someone standing on the other side of her! Delight’s mom, Dixie, and 10 month old daughter, Dina, are three generations in our herd that contribute to making Tasty Milk for you to enjoy.

Bambi

Bambi

Bambi recently turned 3 years old and just calved for the second time on Halloween with twins! We enjoy having families that continue for many generations and provide tasty milk along the way.

Bambi had a unique set of twins this morning as one calf is black & white and one calf is red & white! She is the third generation in a row to have twins.

Belle

Belle

Taffy

On average, 2 years old is when most cows have their first calf. Belle has done that and is on track to do well in her first lactation. We are so thankful to have a cow that is as easy going as Belle in our herd.

Taffy

Taffy is a Red & White Holstein and has a very  unique pattern. She is three years old and will be having her third calf this coming summer!

Rea

Rea

Rea is 4 years old and has given birth to 3 calves total. She is currently producing 120 pounds of tasty milk each day!

Rea enjoys being pet every so often and has a very calm personality. She is not new to our social media as she was featured in our “A Day in the Life of a Cow” video, on Facebook, back in June.
