Ruby
Ruby is 2 years old and, while she may not break any milk production records, is full of love and always entertaining. If we are in a pen with her, she will walk up expecting to be pet, will rub her head on us until she gets attention, and follow us around as we try to get our work done!
Susie
Besides having a bit of a wild head of hair at times, this girl has amazing consistent milk production!
Susie just turned 5 years old and has had 3 calves. She is extremely tame, and sometimes difficult to move where you want her to go because of her docile personality! Currently, she is producing 122 pounds of milk each day. She is one of our most reliable cows in the herd!

Dixie
Dixie is a 4 year old cow who has had 3 calves. She recently earned her way to the top of the milk production list making 140 pounds of Tasty Milk every day!
Not only is Dixie a great cow who is dependable and friendly, but her very first calf (Delight) is now two years old, has given birth to a calf of her own, and is following in her mother’s hoof prints producing a lot of milk with ease.
Mekka
Mekka is 3.5 years old and has had two calves. She is currently milk 148 pounds of milking each day! She has a unique post-milking habit of backing up to a specific gate in the barn and moving her hips from side to side to relieve a rear-end itch 😂 She may be a bit odd, but we love her anyway!

Sassy
A favorite in the barn is certainly Sassy! The name couldn’t fit her more perfectly as she is FULL of personality! You can often find Sassy standing around chewing her cud, waiting to get attention, or making goofy expressions.
She is 6 years old and has had 4 calves. Though her docile personality makes her a bit slow-moving, she is a fun cow in the barn and we enjoy working with her.

Sendoff
At 9 years old, she is the oldest cow in the herd right now! Sendoff just had her 7th calf in November and is classified with the Holstein Association USA as an “Excellent” cow based on her physical traits. She is such a docile an reliable cow in the barn.

Satin
Satin, the cow on the right in this 2017 county fair throwback picture! She was able to show for the 4th time at the Washington County Fair in 2022, and was awarded Grand Champion. She is also years old and last calved in May with her 7th calf! She milks around 115 pounds each day. She is making about 5 gallons of milk per hour!
Magenta
Magenta is known for her friendly personality and ability to find you in a pen to get some love and scratches! She is 3 years old and has had 2 calves. Magenta is a sweetheart and we enjoy having her as a part of our herd!

Delight
Delight is 2 years old and a great cow in our herd! She has produced well over 100 pounds (roughly 12 gallons) of milk every day for the last 9 months.
Delight is also very friendly and the tallest cow we have ever had in our herd. Cows are measured at the point of the withers (high point on back above their shoulders). She is 66” tall (5’6”) and we often can’t see someone standing on the other side of her! Delight’s mom, Dixie, and 10 month old daughter, Dina, are three generations in our herd that contribute to making Tasty Milk for you to enjoy.
Bambi
Bambi recently turned 3 years old and just calved for the second time on Halloween with twins! We enjoy having families that continue for many generations and provide tasty milk along the way.
Bambi had a unique set of twins this morning as one calf is black & white and one calf is red & white! She is the third generation in a row to have twins.

Belle
On average, 2 years old is when most cows have their first calf. Belle has done that and is on track to do well in her first lactation. We are so thankful to have a cow that is as easy going as Belle in our herd.
Taffy
Taffy is a Red & White Holstein and has a very unique pattern. She is three years old and will be having her third calf this coming summer!

Rea
Rea is 4 years old and has given birth to 3 calves total. She is currently producing 120 pounds of tasty milk each day!
Rea enjoys being pet every so often and has a very calm personality. She is not new to our social media as she was featured in our “A Day in the Life of a Cow” video, on Facebook, back in June.
